I love, love, love this version of the XL.

My week has a sort of theme going on, i guess. Medium sized, mostly simple, mostly handwind.

No traditional Christmas party for the staff this year. We are bringing in some BBQ for lunch and will have a few drinks. My favourite cowboy shirt and the Centrix to round out the week.

Yes, it certainly doesn't help you get your reno done in a timely fashion does it? Over at IWL one of the guys is set to become a dad. He and his wife are super careful, but because of the pregnancy they wanted to fix a bit of flour in their basement that had gotten damaged, and maybe mouldy. her uncle's a floor guy, so they brought him in to fix the floor and now they both have COVID.

As for the model 22, i don't wear it enough nowadays. that bare metal engraved dial is pretty special in an industrial kind of way. i've been making a bit of effort to wear some of the less frequently seen pieces, as you may have noticed.

[Watch Carefully]

Sorry I missed Funky Friday, chaps. My family and I were taking possession of our new mountain getaway. It's a second home for now (something I never thought I would have) but we intend to sell our current residence a handful of years from now and move permanently to this one. You guys mentioned isolation...we've got that almost to extremes. Driving around this remote region for about 30 minutes today, I think I saw fewer than a dozen other vehicles!



I wore the Rado Chronometer earlier this week, and also my Hamilton 4992B with the dial Hank made for me. But I'm sporting this rugged piece for the weekend:
