  • MM Funky Friday

Hi all, not much activity this week, either here or on my wrist, anyway here's my lot.

    Deep Blue last weekend.

    Wknd.jpg

Followed by the default work watch, which I decided to take a photo of today as it's really not fair that a watch that does all the hard yards doesn't get a look in.

    Week.jpg

A change from the XL to the Eiger on Thursday afternoon.

    Thu.jpg

And a Kriens today, have a great weekend everyone and stay safe.

Such a difficult choice this week as I would normally, by default, choose either the blue DS XL or the Kriens whenever they appear.
However seeing your beautiful Eiger has reminded me of what I'm currently missing so it's my pick of your week.

Only two again from me this week.

From the weekend I kept the blue Diastar XL on.

And yesterday I changed to the 300m Diastar XL diver.

Have a great weekend guys and stay safe.

It captured my vote this week, too.

Boring week for me...still wearing the bronze. A new buckle arrived for it, so at least it isn't a complete mis-match!
The watch was shiny with well-defined brushing when it arrived...darkness falls:

Excellent shot of a watch we don't see that much.

Busy week here. Canadian Thanksgiving plus two elections at once, still printing all sorts of COVID related things, the hospital had come up with a pretty unique way to have their Gala this year, but due to a big upswing in cases it was postponed at the last minute. And then... my biggest printing press broke at the end of the day Wednesday. The biggest upsides to the week are that I due to the gala cancellation I can shaved my beard off and I fixed the press.

Yesterday was a two watch day, I started with the cute but delicate IWL forum project watch

but switched to something sturdier for the day under the press. The 8/1 was pretty grubby by the time I went home.

And I am winding the week up with the 515

                      Thanks mate.

We don't see your tiger eye DS8/1 often enough so it should be celebrated.

Thanks mate it is a lovely subtle watch.
Like you, I'm always tempted by the Blue XL 100 but , big brother has to win this week.

Thanks Henry, lots of great shots from you this week and in other company each one would win most weeks so, I ended up going with the AN, that's the shot that caught my eye, something to do with the depth of field or the lack of it really, and of course, it's a lovely time piece.

                            Colouring up nicely Brad.

P.S. I don't think I'd spread mustard on it either, it's much better on hot dogs and ham sandwiches.
