  • MM Funky Friday

Hi all, it's Friday again. I don't know if it's because of the virus, shutdowns and isolation etc. but, this year seems to going past in a flash. Here's my watches, just 3 again this week.

Blue diver last weekend. Here's an interesting fact for Brad. At $40,000,000, Neymar, has the single largest debt for an individual to the Spanish taxation department. His acting career seems to have been fairly successful.

An Aubergine Balboa today. Have a great weekend everyone, and stay safe.

    Great shot mate.

Your pic of the Marstron is also excellent but the Balboa takes the prize.

      Happy Friday.

As Tim said, the year seems to be flying past. The weather has turned decidedly autumnal here so that's it until spring now.

Only two watches again for me this week.

From the weekend to Wednesday, white Diastar 100m XL.

      20200929_080942.jpg

Thursday and Friday, 37mm Captain Cook LE.

      Have a great weekend guys.

Thanks mate, the Aubergine Balboa is great subject material.

The Diastar 100m XL is an all time favourite for me but , once again I can't go past the Capta in for the win, such a classic.

          LOTS of watches this week...

          Started with Bulova Accutron,

          Received the Helgray,

Decided to sell the Helgray and switched to the Sea Raider,

Went into the office for the first time since 5 March, and wore the Rado Chronometer,

Arrived home from the office to find this STEELDIVE bronze awaiting,

Love the Bulova but I have to ask if this is the most watches you've ever worn in a week...?

Thanks mate. After wearing modern Diastars one would expect the CC to feel small and light but it's just such a lovely comfortable watch on the wrist.

HA ha! I'm sure I've worn more...especially when I go through streaks of sporting a watch on each wrist.
But I've settled into comfort zones in recent month, keeping one watch on for days at a time. This certainly represents a departure from that.
On the other hand, I don't generally have two modern watches arrive in the same week!

As much as I like the 100Ms it is an easy choice for me this week.

Busy week Brad. I could easily choose either of these.

                          My week

Monday was the Triple date Soleure with this badly outdated photo to represent it.

P2270065 by Hank Blanc, on Flickr

Tuesday, a favourite watch, cufflink and shirt combo; Hyperchrome golden Horse, 1962 LE cufflinks an, well, the shirt speaks for itself...

                          20200929_103117 copy.jpg

Wednesday the Model 400 on a diModell honey brown strap. I think this watch looks pretty good on every strap I have ever put it on, excpet the brown american gator strap that came from RGM. Which is a beautiful strap, just not fight for this watch.

Yesterday it was back to the Soleure for the full moon, but this time with a current photo

And winding up the week with this. I am perversely proud to own a 100% original version of probably the ugliest Manhattan ever.

As the others stated that is a great shot from the Balboa 20!

Here is mine with grey hands:

                              Not going to argue there.

This pic epitomises Funky Friday, pity that you wore it on Tuesday.
