  • MM Funky Friday

Welcome to another Funky Friday, here's my week's watches.

In a bit of a change last weekend I wore a Manhattan.

Back to the default work watch Monday through Wednesday with a change to the Seiko solar chrono in the afternoon.

Green DS XL 300M diver on Thursday.

And today the Hardtron is injecting a bit of Funk into my Friday. Have a great weekend all, and stay safe.

I'll add another chunky TV Screen to the mix...this arrived a few days ago and I'm sporting it today in memory of Miles:

Also, many thanks to JohnPat for sharing more photos of FL catalogue pages with me.
I believe this 36000vph model of Sea Raider is from 1972-1973; prior year catalogues do not include the hi-beat Sea Raider.

Always hard for me to get past a nice Manny, especially the translucent black version and such a great shot of it too.

Frankly I don't know why you ever let that one go.

Great Sea Raider. From that catalogue one can clearly see the DNA of the modern F-L dive watches. csm_FL_Bathy_Soldier_HRes_CMYK1_5bae250a3d.png

I'd like to pick the CC Diastar, but this week there is a clear winner for me.

                        My week.

The Eternity lasted all the way through the weekend

Monday and the week got a bit eccentric, starting with the Ceramica

                        Tuesday, the Balboa Cologny

Wednesday, a little in your face simplicity

                        Yesterday the D-200

And I am round ing out the week with a little trip to the Alps

That's a darn good shot of the D-200, Hank.
I have to choose your Cologny as my favourite of the bunch, though.
The edges suggest they could cut glass!

And yes, Favre-Leuba is doing a good job mining their archives. They are very expensive, though!

Thanks mate, those XL 300's do have a subtle charm all of their own.

This week I'm going with this great shot of what I would think is a fairly rare Diastar.

Manny thanks Henry (sorry about that couldn't resist), I'm discovering that subtle lighting is not easily achieved, not in my house anyway.

This one is rarely seen but much appreciated. And I'm not talking about your wrist, although the same may be said.
