A difficult choice this week but the Horse takes the prize.

      Happy Friday everyone.

Only two watches again for me this week.

Starting the week with the beater from the weekend.

And then a swap on Thursday to the 42mm CC.

It is also Fire Pit Friday, so the obvious choice is this:

        Stay safe, my friends!

All three really great choices tim, but just like Mercedes in F1, I am going with "party mode".

Both. You can't make me choose.

Too early to light the firepit yet, but a friend is coming over this evening and we will be swapping hot peppers and hot sauces, while having some beer around the fire.

                  Nice watch by the way.

Well gents, finished the worst job ever yesterday, so Yay! for that.

Now that it's fallish here I can wear straps again, so I started the week with the Armand Nicolet, which hardly got worn this summer.

Tuesday was another three hander on a strap, Eterna Avant Garde

Wednesday, just before lunch something I've been waiting for for several weeks finally arrived. I resisted the urge and didn't even open the box until I got home after work. So, since Wednesday night it has been this...

Counting shipping, duty and taxes I paid less for this than the list price of the one Seiko 5 I ever bought. 81% off with full Eterna warranty. Happy day! This is both my first Sellita powered watch adn the first DLC watch I have ever owned.

                      Really..?

Only one watch I could possibly choose this week.
                      Congratulations mate.

Yup. I like both equally this week.

Thanks! Over at IWL there was a bit of discussion going on about how much better this is than the renders, as in even more so than usual. I am quite pleased with it. It's a perfect for me thinnish 40mm.

                          Fantastic find, Hank!
The first photo makes it look like gunmetal, which is a cool look for a vintage vibe.
                          Thin and 40mm...what a sweet-spot!

The irony of Eterna using a non-ETA (yet with ball-bearing rotor) movement is strong.
                          Congrats!

Cheers mate. I haven't worn this for a few weeks and it gives me so much pleasure to see it on my wrist.

Thanks Brad and yes to this part.Perhaps doubly so since there has been a rumour going around that Eterna might stop building watches altogether and exist only as a supplier of movements to customers.
