  • Limited Edition Ceramica

I came across this today. Any idea why Rado would be celebrating “75” on a 1990s Ceramica. The model is 111.0294, limited edition of 400 pieces.

I think that ref could be best described as cusp of the millenium regarding age. I believe it was offered into or around the turn of the Century. We know from various Distars issued around then they were perfectly happy to celebrate Country's notable birthdays and such, so I would bet it's some kind of market specific LE.

My thoughts precisely. In the '90-00s Rado also had a centennial (or similar) version for Malaysia. They did all sorts of specialised LEs then.
