    It never ceases to amuse me what configurations of parts, references, names, etc. Rado used to combine back in the early 1970s!

    Here's a Silver Gazelle 74 I spotted on the web:

    With a case-back clearly showing a 1972 or earlier reference number:

    12135 is a new reference for me...
    So far I've seen these 12xxx. Feel free to add others.

    Yes, it once again calls into question what the numbers in the model names are all about, certainly not the year it would seem. I'd sure like to get a peek at the date code inside this one.
