Well here we are, it's Friday again in this surreal new world in which we live. I won't dwell on the obvious but I will post some watches in a small semblance of normal life. I hope you are all still in good health and that you can join in today too.

    Here's my week in watches.

    Last weekend, Blue XL 100M.

And a Hartron to put some funk in my Friday. Keep your distance and stay safe my friends.

A nicely eclectic week Tim, and we seemed to have coincided on more than one occasion.
I'm going for your full-on funky Hardtron to get us through these tough times.

Lockdown was enforced at the start of the week here as so many people were unable to follow simple instructions last weekend.
As my two main clients work on essential electrical network contracts I didn't lock down until Thursday.
      Anyway, these are my watches.

      Monday, NCC404.

      Wednesday, 37mm Captain Cook LE.

      Thursday, blue Diastar Original XL.

I've decided to put my weekend watch on a day early this week. For some reason I don't favour vintage watches when I'm at home so the 42mm Captain Cook is out.

Have a good weekend and stay safe guys.

Thanks mate, I don't often wear this and it's quite different to all my other watches so it's a real novelty for me. Lovely selection as always from you this week. I'm picking your 42mm CC, imo they just got this one so right. Good luck getting through the shut down, hopefully you'll have some fun at home with Rach and the pooches.

Cheers Tim. I agree with you about the Hardtron, it is so different to anything else, although I wear mine slightly more often.
The 42mm CC is about as perfect a watch as I can imagine owning...

I've been really lame for the past couple weeks--wearing only one watch, that I can recall:

I suppose that the upheaval and uncertainty have made me unconsciously seek comfort in the stability of a very accurate and faithful friend.

Stay safe and guard your health, chaps.

PS. I realized just now that the above photo suggest that there is a legibility problem due to monochromatic elements.
This photo shows it's really quite readable:

                        Hey Gents!

My week was quite busy. I ended up wearing fewer watches than usual.

Winding up the week with this LR. For anyone who has never seen an LR ref77XX or any of the related watches this is as good a comparison to a Diastar as any. Note the size comparison to the Diastar XL.

I received a project 404 case and dial so I decided to wear a few 404’s this week. The one I’m wearing today is the latest project. I used the movement and hands from a ds14 I bought for parts with a cracked case. The dial on this is almost purple. The rest are all blue with different degrees of fading except the silver one. 584FD362-2283-424C-9C68-EFD10FD7BBC2.jpeg B3AB81FA-7F4F-45CE-B0FD-1218E02A4083.jpeg F653E4A8-8C48-4038-B14B-F34CED307ACC.jpeg 304B06D0-7767-43C4-A0D7-8D7D6973F963.jpeg 6C912E78-6CED-4031-B936-CD43647C4E25.jpeg 65798BB2-363D-4045-ACEF-AB84F8A87E30.jpeg 6071A402-E89F-4DF0-90E1-A9FCF58A52F8.jpeg

This one's a winner in just about any company. Best of luck to you and Mrs. K in these trying times.
