Happy Friday folks. Well, this week we've had the first few cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19) transmitted at large on Australian soil and it's had the most bizarre panic buying side effect. You'd think people would buy tinned baked beans and soup etc but no, apparently toilet paper is what you'll need . I can't work it out, there's plenty of food available but within a half an hour of the toilet paper shelves being stocked, it's all gone again and it's been going on for nearly 3 days, anyone would think we're facing a years in a bunker after a nuclear holocaust, no food required though, only toilet paper. Weird! Anyway here's my watches for this week.

Excellent photo of a beautiful watch. People sure do like to horde. I still remember the run on gennies, groceries and the banks at Y2K.

This week is more of the same here, so since I am still up I figured I might as well post now.

Beyond too much work I am absurdly excited about the arrival of a cheap piece of plastic.

Making my first softer cheese I discovered the limitations of my first cheese mold. It worked fine for the parmesan but it didn't cut it for the gouda.

        Anyway, my week

        Monday, my one hander

Wednesday, the Starliner again. I think it may have gained the crown of default vintage.

Yesterday, I also wore a Cologny

And today? Why, tentacles of course...

Thanks Henry, I was very excited to discover that the classic DS came in a GP version and had to have one. I remember the Y2K thing and what a non event it was, a lot of people made money on the back of that scare too.

This week, I choose this. Tentacular!

P.S. I don't think any other forum in the world, randomly has 2 members on the opposite side and hemisphere of the globe wearing Rado Balboa Colognys on the same day of the week. It could only happen here.

I wore my four newly arrived hummers to my collection. A nice black dialed cone, a pink Electrosonic, Titus nos, and a rare Omega Seamaster lobster case that I’ll probably still be wearing next Friday . 9FD05B6F-6329-4438-84AC-424E44A523FF.jpeg 5D97BD44-6ED7-48C4-B3DA-3C9990254EA2.jpeg F6F3B2A4-BDB5-428D-AE84-80EDFECE9F93.jpeg 7C1E618C-C1E3-4EDD-8D1E-7B67A853F99A.jpeg 21981FB3-A008-4217-B9E9-E45175D14A41.jpeg

You have finally achieved my goal for founding this forum!

I'm putting the FUNK back in Funky Friday:

Actually, I'm not really wearing it...still trying to decide if I can manage the sheer MASS of it, and also the size. It has 41mm of DIAL alone.

Lately, I've been enjoying this watch...it got a new crystal and battery this week:

If I didn't know you already have a Lapis 8192, I would guess this is the centrepiece of your collection. It would be for many.

A bit late to the party this week, things have been so hectic lately that I haven't even managed to overstock on toilet paper yet.

This is how my wrist looked among the chaos.

Thanks mate, I know it's not your cuppa being GP but I always enjoy wearing it.

I'm going with your 40 years of this week, such nice clean lines, and it's blue.
P.S. You really must hurry, get a couple of hundred rolls of TP before it's too late!
