  • State of the Collection Advice

Come April, and for the first time since 2012, all my Rado collection will be in one place. I plan to do a state of the collection slideshow, any advice on the best free platform/app that can be linked from here for a slideshow. I used Photobucket previously.

I am currently using FLICKR and while they are ten thousand times better than Photobucket they have also changed from a strictly free service to pay or roughly 1000 images and ads. The ads aren't as bad as the ones on Photobucket, but they are irritating. Also, they are still losing money and if they follow Photobuckets lead eventually they will shut down the free end.

Here's a list. Other than Photobucket and Flickr the only other services I have used are Dropbox and Amazon. Neither are suitable for what you want to do.

I have been using Fototime.com for years. It's not perfect, but is reasonably priced and reliable.

Thanks guys. I use iCloud for other purposes so will test this sharing option -

“You can even share albums with friends and family who don't use iCloud. Just open a Shared Album that you created, go to the People tab on your iOS device or click on your Mac, and turn on Public Website. Your photos publish to a website that anyone can see in an up-to-date web browser”
