Happy Friday all. Wow, already 1 month down. Here's the watches that told my time this week, let's see yours. Not so many for me as I've been a little busy of late.

The Esonic was my Sunday and Monday watch.

    Sun-Mon.jpg

Tuesday and Wednesday I was down cleaning out my Mum's apartment in some of the most humid weather so far this summer. This Ti Seiko has become my go to watch for working in these conditions, it's lighter and somehow the Ti doesn't seem to heat up so much as SS does.

Thursday, back to the big XL.

And today some 70's hand-winding funk with the Balboa Cologny. Have a great weekend everyone.

I know that I would normally go for the Diastar XL but these sharp edges called to me today.

Today is Brexit day so it's not such a happy day for 48% of the population. I guess we'll see in time how it all pans out for us.
This is how my wrist has looked this week.

Monday, Balboa Breithorn with the rare red Rado cufflinks.

          20200127_084746.jpg

          Tuesday, Diastar 40 LE.

          20200128_075203.jpg

          Wednesday, Diastar Captain Cook.

          20200129_075613.jpg

          Thursday, Golden Gate.

          20200130_093712.jpg

And today feels like it will be a long day so I've reflected that by choosing the Balboa day/date.

At least there's the Six Nations rugby starting this weekend to take my mind off it all.
          Have a great weekend guys.

Thanks mate, I noted as I wore this watch out on bright summer's day, what a serious piece of bling it is, you need to wear shades.
I can't go past your Monday watch, congrats on an all round perfect combo.
Good luck in a post Brexit UK and enjoy the rugby.

Thanks mate, I'm glad you approve. I can't believe that we'd never seen the red Diastar cufflinks before, just need to figure out which watch they were meant to accompany.
Glad you're enjoying the summer weather now that the fire risk has reduced, you certainly have the watch to match.

I almost picked your esonic, but I saw my Balboa Cologny last night and came this close to wearing it. Glad that you wore yours.

I'll leave Brexit alone for today. I am picking your Diastar CC.

It's hard to believe that we are through the first month of 2020 already. My watch week has had a bit of a split personality this week, starting with dive/tool/ adventure watches and ending elsewhere. It is the first week in a while with nary a quartz in sight.

Monday the D-200. I really do like this one a lot. Kinda handsome for a dive watch, decent lume and it looks great underwater.

                      Tuesday, the New Original XL.

Wednesday, the ref 244 KonTiki on the factory bracelet that my first ref 125 KonTiki came on.

Sharp turn yesterday. From big and toolish to small and funky, the early 70s Longines flagship.

And finally today, the rarest and most extreme, in my opinion, of all the NCCs.

Great choices this week--the new Tradition 1965 looks great, but I vote for the Cologny. Rare, exceptionally thin, and so unique.

I sported a couple chronometer watches through the week...nothing ground-breaking, though:

                            Mostly this:

But nearly as much of this:

That's a good reason to wear it for a week.
