Ok people, it's Friday, let's see some watches. Interesting new vintage watch and information regarding the swinging anchor uncovered by Brad this week, it just goes to show, Rado is a brand that just keeps giving. Here's the watches that told my time this week.

Starting with a Blue Diastar Original XL 100m last weekend.

A vintage favourite, the New Green Horse on Monday.

    Tuesday's waterproof solar pizza timer.

    Balboa SM Star on Wednesday.

    Wed.jpg

Very accurate on Thursday with a Diastar 1 Chronometer.

And a funky crystal for Funky Friday. Have a great weekend everyone.

Not a particularly varied week for me, due to a new arrival last weekend.
Anyway, this is how my wrist looked this week.

On Saturday I finally collected the Hyperchrome Captain Cook from my local AD after a wait of some 6 weeks.

On Wednesday I changed to the Mk2 Captain Cook reissue.

      Thursday was the 37mm LE.

And, having worked my way gradually back to vintage dimensions from a modern sized watch, today I'm wearing the Mk1 Eiger.

Thanks Scott. Of all the modern reissues and modern versions of the reissues, this is my favourite, hopefully one day I'll find enough spare readies to own one myself, but in the meantime, congratulations mate, it's outstanding!

          Thanks mate.
I'm extremely pleased with the 42mm Mk1 reissue, the level of detail is fantastic, and I would recommend it to anybody.

I do not recall seeing the early Voyager with those translucent markers. That's a stunning dial and, despite my affinity for Tim's New Green Horse, I will give my vote to this watch.

My week was boring...one watch only::

I received a interesting package from the USA this week with a lovely content.
Two extremely rare Green Horse Daymasters i never owned before.
One is a almost unique Felsa Handwinder model i found only once via Google with a GP case.
Mine is a steel version in almost NOS condition. Will show in a SOTC thread soon.
The other one is a Automatic without the Horses on the dial and with the Daymaster engraved rotor, just wonderful.
It also has the expandable clasp BOR bracelet but it needs some TLC. I mounted a new spare BOR now, it is perfect now.
Thank you Brad for the nice deal!
                Have a nice weekend, EOTs.

Thank you, Marcus. I'm very pleased that those two watches have gone to such an appreciative new owner.
They will be much happier with you than they were residing in my dark safe!

Interesting variant of that Diastar.I remember when I got mine their was some debate about it's authenticity, though I never doubted. Do you know what the mineral in the middle is?

Today the Battlestar Galactica Royal ELegance SR-C. One of the more discreet mineral dials ever from Rado or TC cases for that matter.

                            Non-Tiki Tuesday gets my vote.

Thanks Henry, I can see how you'd want another one, I'd miss this one if I sold it. I'm going for something different this week, not having seen this Royal Elegance before, I like the shape of the crystal and those steps along the side, pretty cool I think.
