I think I earned a little R&R after another Frostbite Hiking Association trailblazing expedition.
We bushwhacked our way to the far shore of a local trout lake (we're new here, but I am aware of no formal trails and, anyway, everything is snow covered), then walked the perimeter on the ice. I'm told by the ice fishermen it is 7" thick. Two weeks ago our own observations suggested it was 4-5". Temp outside was a nice warm 10F (-12C) in the sun.

    Have a great weekend, chaps!
What a lovely design that Bulova has! Seeing all the snow, I long for SPRING!

For today: Seiko Samurai "Save the Oceans" SRPD23K1-Great White Shark

Keith, cheers indeed to your Dad, and blessings to you for remembering him. Nice whiskey choice. Nice watch choice too.
