  • What are you wearing, new post.

The WRUW thread is 19 pages long. That's gotten to be a bit much in my estimation, Ergo, here's a new thread to use.

I spent an hour and a half this morning at the city's early voting center. Long line moving steadily. Despite my back back, I made it. I commend the voting folks for a smooth process. Wearing my special occasions watch, my 1970 Rolex 1675/3.

Many of you yanks wouldn't be aware that we had our own election last Saturday. I used the '62 Dan Henry to time it. In and out in 46 seconds. IMG-0028.JPG

Thanks, the multi-page threads are a pain. I wish I could select an option to view them all on one page.

Good choice, George. That one is always appropriate!

My wife and I voted early - about 30 minutes, but that was because in KS, they started early voting in-person on a Saturday. I should have waited until a weekday when it only would have taken 15 min. Oh well, no big deal. Wearing my Hamilton BelowZero beast still here.

          1. Thanks, guys, for the nice comments on the GMT.
          2. Br'er Dave, Canada has politics? And careful who you're calling a "yank", Bubba.

Thanks George, these huge threads are getting out of hand. Seamaster for me today.

Citizen Promaster GMT titanium. Yeah, I bought a new watch a few weeks ago. I blame whomever posted theirs on a WAW post. Voted last week. I went 45 minutes before the polls opened figuring no one would be there that early. The line was around 200 people long. Left, came back before lunch, only about 60 people in front of me. Took 55 minutes.

I appreciate the new post, George.

I've gotten used to folks from England, South Africa, Australia, calling me Yank, better than a lot I have been called.

It's a shame my Iphone won't pick up the great black starburst guilloche on the dial.
