I've owned it twice before and missed it each time I
sold it. Maybe the 3rd time will be the charm.

That's what's always attracted me, Mike.

          Thanks.

This one's got an easy to use compass (upper chronograph pusher). Five years ago
I was coming home from the West Coast on the MC and was riding an old farm road
in Kansas. I thought I was going the right way until I checked the compass. It was heavily
overcast that day so navigating by the sun was iffy. Anyway, it's kinda neat to be able to really
use a function other than the chronograph.

It seems that every time I get off the interstate in Kansas, it get's really interesting.

Hmmm... Kansas... Motorcycle... 'gets interesting'. Don't have a terrier named TOTO would you? LOL

Thanks TK. I used to have a Westie (West Highland Terrier) that rode in a crate on
the back seat. He looked a little like Toto. He made it to 18...

Kurt, I have yet to take a third chance on anything. You are an inspiration. Except maybe regarding Kansas roads. They mostly are on a grid. Probably the boredom got to you. Nothing like eastern roads.

                    Thanks Man,
I made it a goal 35 years ago to try and ride every hyway and decent (paved)
                    thoroughfare in the USA.

Except for Mississippi and Alabama, I've pretty much done it. The net result is
2 touring bikes, both over 25 years old, each with over 125k on the clock.

That Kansas ride... I got off 70 onto 281S but ran into road construction and had to
take a detour. I thought I was headed East toward Hutchinson on old Rt 96. but I was actually on Rt14 headed South

You know what they say about the 3 seasons out West. There's Winter, Summer, and Road Construction..

                    :-)

And you're right—I'm a slow learner. I've been going back and buying several
pieces I wished I had kept.

I can see why you went back a third time. Another example of nice green accents. Congrats!

Thanks. It was new but must have set inside the closed box for 5 or 6
                              years. It was completely DOA.

After 4 hours under a strong lamp, it came back to where I could set
the time and functions. This one's not bluetooth but it is atomic.

So, I'll leave it up on top of the brick arch in the back yard tonight and see
                              if it updates.

                              Have a great weekend.
