      Yes, I agree. I we're talking about a '60s style super-compressor that's one thing...an EOT C3 is entirely different.

          If I am actually going to take it in the water, I would prefer whiter/brighter.

            I have a number of old dive watches, the lume fades and ages naturally, the watches get scratched and scraped. I preferred the way they looked new. But having lived through scratches and scrapes and more than a few broken bones, I am okay with the natural fading/aging process.

              I think, much like Henry, if you're using a tool watch for it's intended purpose, whiter and brighter is best.

                If the vintage were as bright I might pick it but I don't think it usually is, so I picked non-vintage.
                I am living the dream in Hawaii.

                  I think white is probably where it's at unless we can find a sufficiently bright vintage shade to offer that option.
