Today is Thanksgiving here in the US. Family, turkey, and other such figure prominently. Today I give thanks for the LoEG family, and wish all well.

To keep this post somewhat on topic - and referring to the dress watch thread below - I'm wearing my real dress watch: my Rolex GMT, made at the same time I graduated from the Citadel in May of 1970. It has some quirks, but they are allowable in a 49 year old watch. Therefore...

Happy Thanksgiving, guys! Great choice, George - classic! Nasty weather here in Olathe, KS - 32 degrees and raining. Not letting that stop me though. Giving the rotisserie a rest this year - went with a CharBroil Big Easy oil free turkey fryer - seems to be working well after 2 hours. Drinking a few Bloody Marys from a Candian company - pretty good actually.

        Happy Thanksgiving gentlemen!

The first Thanksgiving in 7 years we didn’t spend at the boat.

That fried turkey looks awesome Mike.

I hope you all had a filling and blessed Thanksgiving. No watch today, three different timers to help with the cooking. Fried turkey is pretty awesome, yours looks good, Mike! George, thanks for starting this.

Thank you Mike. I find that iteration of the KonTiki to be exceptionally photogenic.
