Default DiaStar 1 Chronometer - 09-05-2009, 05:22 AM

Very pleased with this new arrival, a Diastar 1 Chronometer fitted with a dual tone NSA bracelet . The movement is ETA 2783. The only visible marking on the backplate is the serial number 1159388, other markings look to have rubbed away. According to Wiki - "A certified chronometer is a high-precision watch capable of displaying the seconds and which has been tested and certified by an official neutral body (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres - COSC). Each chronometer is unique, identified by a number engraved on its movement and a certification number given by the COSC. Each movement is individually tested for several consecutive days, in 5 positions and at 3 temperatures. Each movement is individually measured. Any watch with the denomination "chronometer" is provided with a certified movement."

Do we agree this to be accurate and which number on the movement are they referring to?
