    Here are a few examples of the variation you can find:


    1962 Diastar with bayonet back


    Diastar 8 with bayonet back


    Diastar 8/1


    Diastar 1/E


    2002 Diastar 40 with screw down display back


    2002 40 Years Diastar snapback.

    All of these are automatics. Except for the vintage quartz I believe quartz Diastars have snapbacks.
