    Default for JP....

saw this in Sante Fe and thought it was pretty neat: There's also a shovel and an extra gas can on top.

Default having missed getting an FJ in it's day, this version really interested me until

a guy at the company got one and I got a ride with him.

I was genuinely surprised how small the front seat region is relative to the outside size.

Otherwise it might be a great off-road machine, I don't know--lost all interest.

It still LOOKS great--I'll give 'em that...

Barrett Jackson sold one of these old boys, nicely refreshed with a Chevy V-8 in it, over the weekend...$11,000 or so, I think?

Default Funny you posted this today....I actually tested one today...

And it was nicer than I had read about and expected in terms of ride and road noise, etc. You definitely get a sense that this truck will last forever. That said, it did handle like a truck and I (think) have decided that I'd like a car, instead of a truck. The hunt continues....

I always want to help a brother out so lets stop this search sooner than later. We know that you like black muscle cars but also want something a little more refined. Well I have solved this problem for you.

Just head over to the local dealer and ask for this:

I had a 78 FJ 40 Land Cruiser, and also one of the earliest FJ Cruisers to come into the country from Japan. I really liked both of them. Miss the FJ 40 the most - but both are small inside. These are both good off road vehicles. The FJ 40 will only out perform the new FJ Cruiser if it has lockers.
