990 deluxe, super time fact finding

Hi everyone, trying to start a bit of research about these models as a future acquisition, saw em on the bay and liked the way they look however I thought instead of jumping in head first like I did with the alarm I just purchased I would ask questions first than consider pulling any trigger.
They are both buy it now, the 990 (item # 270972269843) appears to be from India, movement looks dirty but that might be just my untrained eye. The supertime (item #261028844695) is the green and dark face one, looks really nice though I wonder how much of it is indeed "authentic" as the seller suggests as the lume (I think) on the hands doesn't look right. I will post some photos later as i still haven't worked out how to do it from my iPhone.
Any info on what to look for when buying either model and or info on the ones on the bay would be great.

It is common for watches from India to have re-finished dials; this one seems to have been spared that fate. It's in decent condition, but not exceptional. Personally, I think it is worth a bit less than the asking price. I would make an offer under $100US and see what happens.

The Super Time is a Thai-market model (I think we've agreed here that the T in the reference number denotes that) and this appears to be in good shape.

I'm a little concerned about the lume on the minute hand--if that was touched up, then what else was? However, the movement looks good; a little rub wear on the rotor is not out of the ordinary. This is a fairly uncommon model outside of Asia..not many in Perth, I'd venture to guess.

No Brad cant say I have seen many over here but in fairness I have only seen one RADO, mine .
Not that keen on the 990. I mean I like the model and shape but something doesnt sit well with that particular one. Same goes for the supertime. Came accross an interesting 'farliner' model (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/221030350...84.m1438.l2649)

Horrible band on it but looks nice apart from that though am slightly wary.

I've never owned one, but some of the fellows here have and perhaps they can chime in. It looks to be in fair condition...rather a small watch, if I recall what I've read.
