    Default Watches in movies

I watched Broken arrow tonight, go ahead and take a shot. John Travolta had on a Breitling I did not like that was different from what I generally don't like about Breitlings.

    I believe it was this:

    Default just one

Take the rider tabs off that watch and it's pretty nice.

That appears to have a very similar movement to the one in my Dunhill:

I think it works better in the Dunhill; the digital display is subtle...when you turn it off, there is nothing to suggest it even exists.

That Dunhill is done very well for an ana-digi combo. I like it when the digi part disappears when not in use. Or in the case of the X-33 where the digi covers the entire dial so as not to break up the uniform appearance.

The Breitling above is one of the nicer looking models, but as Russell pointed out, it would look much better without the tabs. Then it would look more like a Suunto or something that could come out of the Porsche Design studio.

I don't like the tabs on the top watch. Not my cup of tea.
