Back from Scubafest. Survived St. Patrick's day.
Had a good time and enjoyed the banquet and bumping into old friends.
Drank a few of these.
Highly recommended if you can find it.
Spent too much money on some more gear which is always a problem at these events.
Got a nice Light & Motion Sola LED light that has a red-light function for sneaking up on critters unaware to get those "surprise" shots. Also got a Gopro Hero 2 HD mini camera, Backscatter modified housing, mount and attachments to stick it on my Ikelite DSLR case.
As much as I love the D7000 this will allow me to shoot continuous video of entire dives without having to fiddle with the camera controls while still shooting stills using the DS160 strobe. We'll see how it works this coming weekend.
Going to have to sell something to pay for the new goodies. Sigh.
