Thanks JunMel. This version is on eBay, I think vorawatch is the name. They're in Los Angeles, CA.

I just got the same Rado model but I am wondering how genuine mine is?
The one I've got is considerable smaller than another rado diastar that l have previously purchased; also the bracelet is different.
    I got from ebay, vorawatchplus2005
Could you help me with this?
How big is your watch? Do you know if this particular model came in different sizes and with different bracelets?
    Here is the watch:

    Hi & welcome!

To the size - the DiaStar The Original is available in normal and XL size, so your other one should be a XL size.
To the bracelet - there are indeed many different versions.
To the authenticity - looks authentic on the first view, but itīs absolutely impossible to decide from these pics. We need sharp pics from the back, from the sides and from the movement(you need to open it for that). Or you go to a Rado service or an experienced watchmaker. When I was in Egypt for holidays, Iīve held faked DiaStars in my hands being made so perfect outside, that it was nearly impossible to recognise them except from the price - and I know DiaStars.
    Best regards, Mike

I agree with Mike. The Starry Night should be 35mm, without crown. Your other Diastar is likely an Original XL at 38mm, without crown, or a New Original XL with crown guard and screw down crown at around 39mm, without crown. Rado is not currently producing any Original XLs, but has in the past. Originals are currently produced with old style bracelets, like the one on your Starry Night and have been available with this style bracelet for a number of years, so it is possible that a reseller has them in this configuration. They were also produced with the New Original style bracelet like mtflight's.

I have never dealt with Vora Watch nor do I know of anyone who has, but he seems to be selling authentic product.

Having said all that there is nothing readily apparent in your photos that will prove or disprove it's authenticity.

That looks genuine to me. That model came with two bracelets and it seems you have a more classic bracelet. Your bracelet may be more comfortable with the springy action. Mine looks more chunky and is not adjustable except by adding or removing links.

I was considering purchasing from Vora on eBay and requested by email if he could get this watch a year ago or so. They were made for the middle east and Asia and it seems there are still leftovers remaining.

All of Vora's watches pictured look genuine but I've never seen them in person. Congrats on the watch it is a rare dial.

    Enjoy it in good health!
