Great catch, and one sweet watch! Those dive watch designers/engineers in the 60's & 70's knew what they were doing.

Great catch, and one sweet watch! Those dive watch designers/engineers in the 60's & 70's knew what they were doing.
I happen to love them and would wear both.
The customers/collectors these are aimed at - and who buy them - aren't worried about resale value at all, and they don't flip watches. And most of them...
@ Tom: ScubaPro is looking good on the MESH!!
@ Bill: Glad you like that new thin case back!
@ Chris: Ceramic bezels are PIMP!
Steve, all of us here have the attention span of a gnat. You will change your opinion. And yes, when comparing that TUDOR to your POSEIDON, I'd say its a bit bland, LOL.
You might have better luck w/ TUDOR giving you a free one, rather than ROLEX. I noticed you changed your SIG.
Those are an outright steal at list price - much less used - when compared to Rolex. And I love the uniqueness of them, and the fact that you won't see one on the arm of every Tom, Dick, and Harry.
That is one suh-weet and iconic bad-a$$ dive watch. Just a classic design. And its the shiznit on the ISOfrane!! Never doubt the ISOfrane my friend. It can take many unwieldy and unwearable watches...
Looking goooood!! Gotta love that ceramic!
Olivier cases are made in China. Aquadive cases are made in-house in Germany on a CNC machine (not stamped), and also use a different bronze alloy, among other things.

Oh yeah, no use for the GMT? And how often do you actually go diving with all those dive watches you own? :D
Thanks fellas! A few more tidbits,
Introductory pre-order pricing on the Aquadive Bathyscaphe 100GMT is as follows,
The ETA 2893 version is $1,990.00 USD. And once the introductory...
Dude, just shave your arms, then the problem is solved. That'd kinda go good with the sapphire too.
Haha, this one was always my fave!

Another perma-banned member here. I sold seven too many Dreadnought's and made the values go through the roof, and in the process rankled a lot of feathers. That, and I wasn't a good enough stand up...

As far as what others value elsewhere, it comes down to different cultures. I know guys living in Asia that don't have or need 2,500 Sq/Ft main homes (or vacation cabins or hunting/fishing camps) and...
George, its not just China with the disposable income and growing watch markets. There's also Russia, UAE, Singapore, Qatar, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Taiwan, Israel, Bahrain, Belgium, Japan, and the UK....
I hear ya' on all that Johnny re: Facebook/Google and privacy. And your cell phone company - if you own a smartphone or tablet - already sells all your personal web data/analytics (what APP's and...

Essentially, times are a changing. The fora and hobby in general have changed drastically in the last 5-10 years. And the good ol' days of this hobby are long gone. This forum was huge 8-10 years...
@ Tyler, I'll have to check them out. The NOS 200m Diver would look good on a strap like that one.
@ George, I'm loving that Black & Gold Rollie, that one is a beauty!! Reminds me of the 76' and...
Diggin' the CYMA, and the strap too!!
Got bored with her on the Heritage Tudor NATO. So switched up to this combo, a new never used Rivet Oyster left over from an old Kemmner Bond SUB that I used to own. I like it, and it wears nicely....
Ha, I did a drive by Hit & Run when I happened to pop in for the first time in a long while. Saw your post, clicked on it and looked at the pics real quick and even said to myself, 'Huh, I don't...
