Happy Birthday, Shannon! Nice happy looking watch. Since going with my PO for a whole month, I decided to switch gears at least for the day (perhaps longer, we'll see) and go with this sometimes...
lol
Well, I do still have the Pelagos. I just love the GMT-like jumping hour hand on my PO. In fact, I've been hunting for the right GMT watch as of late and I may have it now, but I'll know for sure...
One watch, the same one everyday, for a whole month! Ha!
Happy Saturday, folks!

Oops...forgot the pic. Took this snap a couple of days ago, but wearing the same set up today (with a fresh shirt)... :-)

I'm going for a straight month with my po8500 on the wrist. Will get there if I can make it to Saturday....
Cool stuff! Welcome back!
I've had my eye on a Speedbird more than once over the years, George. I like the fact hat they come with a screw down crown and 100M water resistance with the just about perfect sized case for almost...
Yep! That's a good one. Wonder if they sell a bracelet with it.
In my hotel room getting ready for work. Looking forward to going home tonight. It's now three weeks straight with the PO on my wrist. My other pieces are feeling neglected I'm sure.
Hope...
Good post, George. Personally, I appreciate the functional watches that I feel confident in wearing and, frankly, like to look at. I'm the same with cars. You can get a lot of versatility out of a...
Yep, that's a beauty! And a fly-back to boot!
Thanks! It's the matte ceramic on the new Omega mesh with the nifty Ploprof clasp that gas the hidden fine adjustment and extension.
My car was parked while I took this....in case anyone's with the cell phone police...

Well, I've been very predictable for over two weeks now. Still wearing my 45mm PO. The cal.8500 is keeping time to +2 seconds per day, and thanks to the GMT-like jumping hour hand, I haven't had to...
Rookies! LOL...
seriously, the Speedy is one of those classics everyone should own at least once. In my case, I've had about a 15 or so of different vintages. Manual winding, hesalite crystals...
The fire pit looks good, Shannon, and the Seiko will be a great watch for all those chores. I'm doing car stuff mostly, but it'll be a gorgeous day here today, and I'll want to enjoy a nice cigar...
It's officially 42mm, but that counts the outer edge of the case. It's 40mm across the bezel, but with its large dial, it wears bigger than your average 40mm case watches. At least that has been my...
I've been neglecting everything since getting this one a couple of weeks ago.

lol
Excellent as usual Jocke! Thanks!
Ouch. Sorry to read this. Mine is not having that issue, but I guess $hit happens. 3 weeks is pretty good for Swiss watch companies, in ny experience, although it sucks to be without your watch that...
I am taking a break from packing and doing taxes and responding to work email. I'll never try and so all that at the same time again!

Gotta love vintage Omega. Great watch, George!
