wearing this rarity right now after giving some serious TLC to the case/crystal/bracelet.
it has so many deeper scratches on the original brushing so i decided to grab my tools to bring it back to...
im pretty sure having one or two in my back stock.
it should be a deep blue dial with golden markers. i will check my stuff and post some pics..

you have to hunt pretty hard for a new King Size Starliner dial, but its worth it.
now it looks almost like new for a very long time !
yeah, you are right. but of course i noticed these different markers. there are several combinations out there. but im cool with a complete white marker circle.

Some time ago i found a NOS Starliner Kingsize (38mm) dial.
Today i had the time to replace the old yellowed and patinated plate.

of course you can remove scratches, but i had bad experiences...
there is one thing i learned after reading this thread:
never try to disassemble a VAL.7750 movement... :der:
im using the #12000 mesh for the TC finish, getting the stuff from a austrian seller. but he is only selling the #8000 mesh spray.
i´ll try to get informations on the 12k, im sure he has...
