  • Wind or Grind? PRS 516 Extreme...

    Tissot PRS 516 Extreme
While I find calling things "Extreme" to be terribly tiring, I do like this watch.

The Tissot PRS 516 Extreme definitely takes it to the limit. There is no stopping such dynamism.
Will somebody please locate the writer of that copy and slap him or her silly? Thank you.

Overdesigned? Totally. Even so, I like it.

It's not bad looking but I don't think it's for me. But I completely get why others would like it.

I like the hex cell pattern. The "T" might be a little bigger than it needs to be.

It has some nice elements, but they are pushing the "extreme" look a little too far. The non-functional screw heads take away from the design and I'm with Russell on the overly large "T" especially with the other T's integrated into the hour and minute hands. Overall, I think it is overdesigned, but I can see how it would appeal to some.

No stopping it? Awesome...a perpetual motion machine! I like the bezel and rehaut...they could be the basis of a much more subtle and very striking watch.
There sure are a lot of Ts.

Again, a thread where I've got nothing to add, R, B, and Brad say it all.
