  • Hey Henry...

    ...a Harley photo for you:

    Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet...

    It's a low cost version of Buren micro-rotors. Nice! I think Harley is also marking their name on some low cost quartz movements. Just look at the jeweled barrel arbor, that surely increases efficiency of the auto winding. I wonder how 'thin' it is?

      Nice. Not as fancy as the one in the Aristo Blue Planet, but nice nonetheless. I take it from your post that it is yours? Are you going to build something more elegant/less sporty than your other projects?

      I haven't painted a movement in a while now... I'm still working on the giant project ( 4 feet by 6 feet) for myself.

        Not exceptionally thin--only a milimmetre thinner than a 2824, and just about the thickness of a 2892.

        Data from Dr. Ranfft's website:
        11.5''', Dm= 25.6mm, Do= 26.0mm
        H= 3.8mm
        F= 1.5mm
        T= 2.1mm
        21/22/25 jewels
        f = 21600 A/h

          It is mine, and brand new. I really have no idea how it will end up...where to get a dial is the big question.
