                  The one, the only ...

...watch I seem to ever wear. And if I get lucky enough to sell the Silberstein (doubtful) it will be THE one for quite some time.

No watch yet today (!) but I just won this...

I've been keeping my eyes peeled for a really cool vintage Movado, preferably one of those with an in-house movement and an unusual rotor. Also, one of my main criteria: it has to have a case made by F. Baumgartner, the Genevan casemakers who also supplied Patek Philippe.

I am pleased as punch to have won this off the 'Bay mere moments ago:

It has a Baumgartner case and the uncommon Movado Cal. 431:

I'd guess that it was made in the mid-1950s.
It's coming from Singapore, so I probably won't have it for another week, but I'll try to post some decent photos once it arrives.

                      Cheers,
                      Brad

                          If you think ...

...the 3 or 4 day wait for a watch is tough, try 4 to 5 months.

It's only been a week and the wait is already killing me!

But, its been 6 years, what's a few more months.
