  • Ladies Green Horse strap issue

    Hi all,

    Its been a while!

Does anyone have any tips on how to improve the security of the presure type of strap found on the ladies Green Horse. It will close and grip, but can be pulled out, or work its own way out gradually.

While sun cream may not help the situation, the grip is not good along the lower area of the strap. If I try higher up it seems fine, but the strap doesn't feel any rougher to be giving more friction or grip.

Is there a way to adjust the grip, short of adding thin tape to the buckle base plate, which probably wouldnt stay put for long.

It's such a pretty strap it would be a shame to have to change it for a leather one.

Anyone seen and dealt with this issue before?

    Mick

    Hi Mick!

Just put a small piece of Sellotape(or Scotch, Tesa, ...) on the area of the mesh-band where the grip of the close is pressing it together.
That will improve the pressure and prevent slipping.

      Mike,

Thanks, I will give that a try.

It has moved onto a leather strap for the time being.
