The country's been roasting down here, with large areas 40c+ over the last few weeks, the hot weather records just keep on tumbling. It's also Australia Day long weekend, so I hope we don't have too many bush fires to spoil the occasion. If you're new to this forum, feel free to become a member and post photos of your watches here, and if you're unsure of how to do that, just ask, we're all happy to help. Here's the watches that told my time this week.

    Last weekend, my DiaStar 36

Monday was a little dark and stormy so this Sapphire Horse brightened things up a bit.

Another trip to the hospital on Tuesday, accompanied by the largest of my Diastar XL's.

    Wednesday's Balboa SM Star.

Thursday, another trip to Sydney, this time wearing my Marstron.

Today I'm wearing my Mk1 Eiger. Have a great weekend everybody.

A stunning week as usual Tim. I hope the weather doesn't cause too many problems and you can enjoy the long weekend.
I had to pick your Diastar XL as my watch of the week, you know how much I like it.

We are the opposite of you Tim. It has been hovering around -20 to -30C, with windchills approaching -40. A friend in Melbourne sent us a couple of pictures- his balcony wall was registering in the high 60s and he also sent us a photo of a frying egg.

        My week:

Saturday was the IWL project watch

Sunday was the Centrix, which I should really take in for a service.

Monday, the 202 seen here in a recycled photo.

Tuesday, Eterna, but not the KonTiki.

        Wednesday-Diastar 62

And I am winding up the work week with the Balboa Deluxe.

-5 degrees with snow over here in Franken, wearing a blue striped 101. A little review on the restore work will follow..

We had a light dusting of snow on Wednesday but the temperatures have climbed over the last couple of days. We're still waiting for winter to properly arrive this year.
I started the week with a watch I haven't worn for quite some time, even though it has long been a major favourite.
The cushion Diastar 1 was running quite fast on Sunday night / Monday morning but started to settle down as the day progressed.

In order to check that there wasn't a problem I kept the same watch on for Tuesday.

Wednesday called for something a little more modern so I went for the blue Diastar Original XL.

50 Years of Diastar on Thursday, another watch that doesn't get the kind of attention it deserves.

And an all time FF favourite with the tiger eye Diastar 14.

A lovely week Henry but my choice has been made because of the exquisite dial detailing.

Thanks Scott. Eterna showed their attention to detail in the Avant Garde alright. It's up there with my Hyperchrome in the dressy sports category.

I am picking your Dia 14 as my watch of the week from your choices. I very nearly wore some tiger eye this week myself.

Thanks mate, hopefully one will show up at the right price for you some day.

I'm with Henry and voting for your TE DS14 today.

I also think this shot of your Blue XL deserves an honourable mention.

Hi Peter. Love your Kon Tiki four hand. I've considered one many times. How do you find the size? Also, did you get a good deal on it?

Yes, I did get a fair deal on it, and yes, it is a bit big. In fact ist tthe biggest watch I own and I hardly wear it because of my slim wrists. But still i find it very attractive.
Cheers Henry and have a nice Weekend
                            Peter
