Hello and Happy Friday to all at EoT. Let's see your watches, here's mine.

Last weekend, a watch for all seasons, Blue DS XL 100m.

    Weekend.jpg

Monday, another watch returned from my watchmaker last week. Although it was brand new, I was unhappy with + 20 secs/day and so spent $10 to have John trim it down to +3. I decided to wear it on Tuesday as well to get a better idea of the accuracy. I was pretty happy, it averaged + 1.5 secs a day for the 2 days.

    Mon:Tue.jpg

    Wednesday's Scheidegg.

    Wed.jpg

    Thursday I wore a DS36.

    Thus.jpg

And today another favourite DS XL. Have a great weekend everone.

Another great week of watches mate. My favourite comes from the two modern Diastars, although the Scheidegg is hard to beat.

Thanks mate, as far as favourites go I can't say I disagree with you. I look forward to seeing yours and I hope you have a great time at the Rugby.

          My week of watches.
I started the week by working through my box of lesser worn watches, starting with the StratoJet.

          WP_20181105_18_59_53_Pro (2).jpg

Tuesday saw the Frigate come out to play.

          WP_20181106_18_21_33_Pro (2).jpg

          Over Pole Wednesday.

          WP_20181107_17_04_53_Pro (2).jpg

On Thursday the weather took a distinct turn for the worse so I took my photo of the Voyager using fire light.

          WP_20181108_18_39_16_Pro (2).jpg

Coincidentally I chose the blue Diastar Original XL today, which will remain on my wrist for the weekend including my trip to Twickenham tomorrow to see England take on New Zealand.

          WP_20181109_18_08_49_Pro (2).jpg

          Have a great weekend everybody.

I'd be pretty unhappy with +20 sec a day too. $10 well spent! Both the Dia 36 and the Schiedegg are strong contenders but I have to vote for the Diastar XL. Just lovely.

I think you win the eclectic sweepstakes this week Scott. Love the Stratojet but my fave is always going to be the Voyager.

Winter is here early and with a sense of purpose. It is below -30C with the windchill factored in. My week, stretching all the way back to Saturday.

Saturday, one of the starkest of all modern Rados, the Centrix.

Sunday saw another simple watch, the Antea ks. Mine is one of the very last made with the old Stowa logo, making it quite desirable in certain circles.

                The week proper:

                Tuesday, CC Mk I.2

                Wednesday, 50 Years of Diastar.

                Thursday, Longines Heritage.

And wrapping up the week today with the Diastar 1 the 50 Years is based on.

Heavy on the Rado with a dash of Longines and Stowa for good measure Henry. You know how I feel about the 1935, and that Stowa has an elegant simplicity, but I really love the DS1/ 50 years combo in that last photo.

Almost all softshell this week Scott, and I see we've bookended the week with Blue XL's, which by the way is an excellent choice for the Rugby. Nice to see the Over Pole and I really like the warm cosy Voyager shot, sounds like the weather's turned up Henry's way too.

Beautiful watches, wearing the Walthan these past few days, showed it to my watchmaker is a fast-beat 36,000 bph running a few seconds fast.
He told me he had seen some in metal cases, but never in sapphire.
                          Have a great weekend.

I had the thought of doing a full softshell week but the XL broke that plan.
Our weather seems ridiculously boring with your extremes of heat and Henry's cold.
