  • Miles's Funky Friday

Tim's a poorly boy today so I've agreed to start the thread this week, in the hope that he will recover quickly and post his week of watches.
I've been fairly unimaginative this week, starting off on Monday with the Diastar Original XL that I had been wearing over the weekend.

On Tuesday I was attending the funeral of a great aunt (one of three that left us over a two week period spanning Easter) who was also the last of the Hurley clan hailing from Clonakilty, County Cork in Ireland. My grandmother was the oldest of 13 and it was a sad occasion to see the end of that part of my heritage. I wore another Diastar Original XL for the occasion, this time with a black dial.

Wednesday and Thursday were very busy days at work so I wore the Diastar 40 both days.

And for Funky Friday I'm wearing the Mk1 Eiger with the spectacular textured dial.

It's a long weekend for us over here this week and the weather is forecast to be warm and sunny for a change.
    Have a great weekend everybody.

        Sorry for your loss Scott.

I made it a long weekend here. I am home cleaning the yard now that it is actually warm. My week

Sunday and Monday was the Eterna Avant Garde. I love the textured on one half and polished on the other hands. This is a thing that makers like Lange use but is rarely found in a watch at Eterna's price point.

Tuesday was the Heritage 1935 on a beautiful custom horween strap.

Wednesday, back to Eterna with the Soleure triple date moonphase.

Thursday I figured I might as well round out the modern Eterna's with the KonTiki

And today since I am doing yard work all day, the 100M

Edit: Swap Tuesday and Wednesday around.

Scott, I'm sorry to hear you've lost another of your great aunts and many thanks for starting us off this week, I really wasn't up to it, I'm guessing I was suffering from a migraine, something I've never had before and hope to never experience again, quite debilitating. When I woke up for work last night thankfully I was feeling much better so thanks for the well wishes and here's my weeks watches.

Last weekend. The watch I call Captain Nemo.

            Monday, plain simple Balboa.

            Tuesday. Trident 500

By Wednesday I realised I was running with a colour theme.

On Thursday the Accustar needed a charge and it stayed on for Friday as I really couldn't be bothered changing. Hope you all have an enjoyable weekend.
