3 DS arrived today. Quick photo before going back to work:

DS1 with a kind of rare dial position for the date and interesting hour markers. Not sure whats is inside but no quick date change. I really liked this dial config, is so well balanced, it is a shame that the dial is stained.

DS2 with chapter ring dial. Currently not running, will check later. No quick date change I suspect AS movement. Not sure if I like the silver-gold combo in this case, time will tell.

Cushion DS with chapter ring dial ref D3257 . The case and crystal are just perfect in this one except for the missing medallion in the case back.
The dial is also in good condition with all the lume plots intact. I put a NSA 7-row on it and look great. No quick date change. I'm thinking I got 3 A Schild movements today. It is running good and in my wrist as I write this. Beautiful watch that wears smaller and lower on the wrist than the Hardtron. I'm so happy with this one. Now I want to get another one and frankenising it with a black dial

    More photos later. Maybe...

Nice watches Pablo, I'm glad the cushion is in great condition and I agree with you, it's very comfortable to wear.
    Enjoy them.

Nice haul Pablo. I like the DS1 with the date at 6, nicely balanced as you say.

The cushion DS1 is one of my favourite Diastars. It is certainly more comfortable than the Hardtron and mine gets much more wear.

Nice catches Pablo, very interesting unusual DS1, beautiful cushion, I really like that one. Like you, I'm not so sure about the gold silver combo on the DS2, maybe it'll grow on you given time.

That guy has an impresive Rado collection. I have pointed to his blog several times. He does some restoration post that look really good. Unfortunately as Scott says the translation is awful. He has posted here sometimes, but I don't remember his profile name.

There's a Japanese Rado collector that follows me on Instagram but I don't think it's the same person.

Is this any better? I wonder what Kapell's kitchen car is? Perhaps it's a cafe where they meet to discuss watch repairs.

That's much better and actually makes sense. So basically he cannibalised a Kapell to fix the cushion DS...
Interesting comment about the quality of tc in Diastars compared to Balboas. It appears that Balboas were the cheaper version, although they may have been cheaper in Japan as that is where they were assembled.

That's number 410 in the attached image.
Japanese watch repairmen call the parts "KICHI-GURUMA".

                          Thank you for explaining that.
