It's taking forever to load for me, but if it is what I think it is, it was just introduced at Baselworld.

Yes, I think that is the one. 46mm wide case. WAY too big for me.

          Hi!

What I can tell you - it looks absolutely great!

And it doesn´t look too big. Very decent, the colour is actually more matt anthracite than black. A dream of a watch, unfortunately far beyond my budget.

It's like a modern version of the old Orfina military chrono with PVD coating. Our pal Marlowe has a nice one of those.

Not really. The old Porsche Design chrono made by Orfina looks differently:

The regular D-Star doesn't look too big either. It seems smaller than my Hyperchrome and in some ways even my Centrix. In this case I don't think it's appearance that counts, though. It's physically too big for me. I am quite certain that it is thinner than the D-200 chronographs, but at 44mm the D-200 looks absurd on my stick wrist.

                  What's the price Mike?

Spirit of the law, not letter of the law.

IMO, there are more striking similarities than differences...just modernized.

With that argue you find a lot of similarities between a lot of black chronos with three subdials.

Does anyone recall what price these rattrapante models originally sold for?

Looking it up on Google returns $5900 to $6000 from multiple hits and sources.

                            It's nearly 46mm across too.
