  • NCCs are the *funk*!

I'm thinking about procuring one, if I find the right one in good shape.

    Y'all like these?

    Hey Cat,

    You got that! Mega-funky!
Which model NCC are you scoping out? My nieces were all over my NCC101s as of last night...oddly enough. They seem to enjoy the shape and colors, and passed on some similarly-shaped Seikos. They aren't interested in the technical merits or history of the Rado brand...yet.

An interesting combo, with your killer RGM!

Hi Cat, I've seen you posts in some of the other fora.

      And Hi Steve.

The NCCs are indeed super funky. I've got all five, though my 404 is an ongoing project.

Like Steve I'll ask if you have any thoughts on which model you are looking for?

        Hey Henry,
The whole NCC lineup. Sweet! I only have one left in my posession, but it's cool to remember the fun.

        Let's show Cat some NCCs!
        NCC101 - Still with me.

        NCC202 - Out for repair.

        NCC303 - Living in a better home.

        NCC404 - Out for repair.

        NCC505 - Living in a better home.

Say, how did that engraving gig over in the Dive Locker pan out?

Which ones? The 101s and 404s. They seem to be sold for reasonable prices for vintage Swiss watches, too. I just like them. Rados in general seem to be an overlooked brand. I like the various models with seahorses on the dials, too.

Between the 101 and 404, I tend toward the 404. It's a triangle. Who does that?

I'm enjoying the heck out of these pictures. NCCs look like watches you'd see in early 1970s "B" movies; something with Charlton Heston. "Soylent Green is people!!!!!!!" Henry's 505 and Pimpclinic's NOS 202 and blue 404 are uber bad-ass.

                      "Damn dirty apes!"

The 505 was a steal. I refinished the case myself and am still working on the bracelet, but it runs like a train.

202's are brutes, but I mean that in a good way.

It started innocently enough for me, but the GPs look so good in real life, that I feel obliged to get them all now.

I still have the GP 505 on the GP fishtail Henry It has your name on it.

But you can't have the GP 404

                              NCC Show Thread?

                              Hi!

                              I love Henryīs "searchlight-NCC 303"!
I donīt own many NCCs, but I love them:

I still have a SS NCC 101(chapter ring version) with fishtail as project watch. It will be brought back to life with a green NOS-dial.
