Large at 37 mm across excluding the crown. Very decorated lugs, bezel and case. Signed on back "Exacto GR 1230". The movement is small at 22 mm. I can't see the calibre but it looks like a small AS1130. Anyone know what it is? The watch style looks like a 1940s ars deco styling. Keeps pretty good time. I particularly like Arabic numberals which are few and far between on Rado watches.
    Cheers,
    ken

I'm so sick and tired of my friends who can't handle their alcohol. The other night they dropped me three times while carrying me to the car

    Hi Ken!

Thatīs a wonderful Exacto, congrats! I saw the same model with GP hands in an auction in South America inner the last year but the price went to high for me:

It really looks like an AS 1130(family) - maybe the basic is larger and only the bridges on top are smaller - Ranfft writes there are different bridges being used.
Iīm going to a beach holiday this night, so wearing a (modern) diver the next two weeks:

Non-Rado day...I'm wearing my prototype of a Howard pw-to-ww conversion.
        Nice Exacto--love the lugs!

Resurfacing this old thread as I recently received this Exacto and wondered if it was the same model Ken posted?

Wound up the 1918 Elgin today, almost 100 years old and still ticking.

                Hi John!

Yes, it is. Iīve seen the reference GR 1230 with different variations
of markers (numbers only or numbers/markers) and hands (Feuille or early small Dauphine).
Case and movement (AS 1237/38) are the same.
                Very large for itīs time.

BTW, one of my preferred Exactos is back from the watchmaker.
Ref. 3240, GP with a dial in midnight-blue, put it on a Rios oistrich strap in the same colour.
One of the latest Exactos IMHO, the hands and the case already look like the 1960s.

                Exacto 3240 ws.jpg

Inside is a Standard (AS) 1802/03.
