  • It's that perfect time of year.

In these part it's that perfect time of year, the trees have coloured up, the holidays are over and the crowds have gone home. We're 10 days out from the official start of Winter, but the days are still warm and the water is hovering at or just above the air temperature, today's water temp at Avoca point was 22.3C or 72 plus change in Fahrenheit. So for the last 2 afternoons I've slipped the old Landmaster on and had a nice long swim. The water was crystal clear at Avoca this afternoon, if I'd had a net I could've scooped up several Whiting and at least one decent Bream I could see swimming around my feet.

Tim, it is nearly perfect here as well. Yesterday was about 72 degrees, the humidity was low...birds are singing and all sorts of floral displays (and scents) pervade the scenery. It's glorious--glad to know it's as enjoyable down under. Unfortunately, we're about to surge into a week of higher, uncomfortable temps (as much as 33C!) here in the mid-Atlantic states.
    Cheers!

That's a cool looking watch. Great scenery there too!
