    Modded 6309

Beautiful Explorer II, by the way. My second favorite Rolex.

Seen so much about 6309s on the forum lately, had to drag this one out.

        Nice choice JP.
Man, they sure beefed up the hands on that puppy. The minute hand is a bit of a surfboard, but I sure do love that orange pointer.

I'm hooked on the GMT Master even when I'm not on the road.

ps. I think this one passed through you stable a few years ago, while still wearing a Pepsi bezel.

Cool shot, too. I like the textural juxtaposition.

I mean, I don't give JP grief about what he bought because, well, you know, he's Canadian and vast expanses of white frighten them, which is why they're all near the coasts and the border with us.

              But YOU have no excuse...
Vast expanse of white....yup, you may be on to something. View of my front street last weekend.

Thanks, Tyler. Sort of captures the spirit of the beast.

Maybe it has something to do with The McGurk Effect that Jaimie showed us in the post below. No matter what I thought I saw my brain was telling me that this one was nicer

I know they made a Tudor Sub with blue dial and mercedes hands, etc. The photo I saw of one was a beaut, but what I don't know is if it was a full size (39.5mm) or a mid size (36mm).
