  • if you didn't see the Cartier tv commercial this evening...

...you missed an astounding visual tour-de-force.

Many people dismiss special effects--which clearly this had--but nonetheless overall it was a visually stunning effort of great imagination, beauty, and impact.

I didn't time it, but it was at an absolute minimum 2 minutes long, and they just smashed the barriers of most company's budgets by running the thing on all three networks (and cable & more, for all I know) at the same time.

It is worth looking to see if it's available on the web; I hope so. (see added thread with link next)

I haven't seen anything nearly as well done since the Chanel #5 'Moulin Rouge' commercial of several years ago.

Paris, elephants, crystal snakes, a classic airplane, golden dragons, and a feline star.

    Brilliant..., absolutely brilliant.

(Of course that's just my humble opinion...)

and have you seen some of the banned commercials...

Clearly not as cool as that Cartier commercial, visually, but they sure are special in their own way, lol...

trust me--Harlow has been known to me for years...

One of the rare genuine long-term models photogs love because she just seems to suit so many moods and styles.

Interestingly, even with a bit of a movie career, not so much followed or known by the general public, even as they are aware of lesser model talents.

The fact that she is very nice in person is a huge + . She was a customer when I had my Restaurant in the West Village .
