    finally got around to installing the faded insert that came in this week - think i found what this 7928 was missing (for me)

    Larry, the insert looks perfect and it's complete with matching pearl. That's one of the best looking Tudors I've seen. Just love that rose dial. Congrats!

      i hesitated on the insert as they aren't cheap but got a pretty fair deal on it so i figured i'd give it a shot -

              That Tudor looks great! I really like the AutoZilla too, it's a shame my wrist is too small for one of those. I'm still wearing this:

                That faded bezel looks great! Perfect patina all around. I switched to the Steinhart last night and staying with it today. I'm still impressed with this watch. I mean, it was 450 bucks after delivery and customs/taxes....that's a deal for what you get...

                          Yes...it's an Omega 1039 that I recently picked up. Can't say it's the best built bracelet. Even more "jingley" than the old Rolex oysters. The watch felt more solid on the 1171, but I do like the more vintage look.
