We'll be in LA and San Diego mostly. We definitely plan on checking out Hodad's in SD. Reputed to be the best burger in the world (have to see if they're right). Any other suggestions?

I've not seen this before. Looks kinda neat...but that non-turning bezel issue would be a downer.

Lots of travel again, Brazil, Trinidad, and New York so far; Chile, Ecuador, and Argentina upcoming. I picked up these two items for some summer fun. Most here know the watch. Does anyone have a suggestion for an aftermarket bracelet or strap for this one? I'm not a big fan of the polished center links on the OEM bracelet. Also, the edge of the diver's extension has a tendency to dig into my wrist (I wear it kind of snug so the crown doesn't ride down onto the back of my hand).

I'm really liking my new Spyderco Manix 2 EDC (Every Day Carry Knife). I wanted something with US made steel and G10 textured grips (Scales). I looked in on a couple of knife forums as I was researching a little on the type of steel I'd bought. It was funny to see how similar the knife forums are to our watch forums, i.e. "fanboys," "grail lists," " form over function discussions," and the ever present wife/GF "stink eye" for adding yet another (insert your latest purchase here) that looks exactly like all the others! :doh:



P.S. A new boss who owns a Rolex Sub LV, Cartier Roadster, Bulgari Diagono, Baume et Mercier, and a Panerai can't be all bad can he?
