All champagne cased l to r: Balboa DeLuxe on NOS two tone two piece 3 row NSA, Balboa Great on two tone tapered and textured SK, Balboa on satin/mirrored two tone two piece 7 row NSA. The Balbao Great is my second. I bought it even before I broke the D-Star and it finally arrived today. It is better than the first in every single way.

The dial has no flaking, the hands are perfect, the bracelet has barely been dented by the case and their is no loss of plating. Even the waffle clasp is almost unblemished and I didn't have to shake anything out to make it go. What a find this one was, and half the price of the first, which was a good deal.

I intend to sell my lovely Diastar Acculux, 40 years Diastar, limited Edition number 085/300.
I bought this watch new about two years ago for 1200 Euro and have hardly worn it.
As you may know, this is an "automatic" quartz, but as far as I know, the only one that can be handwound. It runs for approx. 100 days.
Comes complete with box and papers. Serious offers are appreciated.
Sorry, I couldn't load my pics in the Rado Exchange (only goes for URL) so that is why I had to choose the Rado Forum. (Moderator - I added this to the Exchange)
The Picture of the glass-show-back is not of my watch (the number is not mine), I borrowed it.

I've been rather quiet on the forum as of late. First, the absolute last class for finishing the MBA has started, only 7 weeks to go and all the years of hard work will pay off. I hope!!! Secondly, as you may or may not know we have a litter of puppies that were delivered by an emergency c-section on April 21. In conjunction with this has been an endeavour to get our beagles known and the public aware of wht we have to offer. Check out my efforts @ www.rockhoundbeagles.com Any suggestions for improvment will be greatly appreciated.

This unique Rado timepiece arrived today, a Balboa V with a unknown TC case (for this model).
i guess it is a early balboa example, the case design is pretty similar to the Cushion diastar wich Johnpat and me got in the collection.
the TC plate is pretty thin so the SS body stands out of the back, it also has a screw down back with the brass medallion.
the pristine saphire crystal also has is a bit different, check the pics. the movement is a AS 1873 with 25 jewels, the same as the cusion DS.
the bracelet is a asian NSA with raised links, looks good and wears great... anyone have seen this before ?

Pics updated !!!
The seller claims this is a mineral dial, but it might be some kind of chemical treatment like the acid dial version. I won't be finding out first hand.
