Hi All ,

Got this 1940's chrono and it's missing the balance , I'm having trouble identifying the movement and wondered if anybody might recognise it . The bridge looks like Landeron but the Baulk spring and hammers look more like Hanhart and it's got me stumped , I did think it may be of Russian origin as they had all the Hanhart stuff at the end of WW2 but the front plate is marked BREVET with the Swiss cross . Dial and bridge are both signed Phillipe Watch .

T.I.A.

Ron

That's a very old movement. Perhaps as old as the 1920s. I believe it's a Veunus but not sure.

......... seems to have little design elements that you recognise from all the chrono manufacturers , somebody at MWR thought it may be a Landeron 39 but after making close comparison to the illustrations in Bestfit I'm not so sure .
My watchmaker seems to think it's post WW2 but I don't know , oh well the search continues ..

Cheers,
Ron

If that's post WWII I'm the queen of England.
