This is a clock given to me by a friend. It belonged to his folks, who moved to a retirement community and did not want it. He didn't plan to spend the $$ to have it reparied so he gave it to me. It will not wind iteself as it should but ran fine when hand wound. It has not run so well during the warm months as it did in the cold months after he gave it to me last October.
It's a LeCoultre Atmos from 1961. I'll have it reparied one of these days. I have longed for one yet my chum never knew. He just gave it to me because he knows I am into timepieces. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
Show us your cool clocks!
