FS: RADO Cream Dial Voyager. All Steel. NOS.
Mid-Size/Boy-Size. Genuine Mint RADO New Old Stock kept in stock for years. NOT refinished.
RADO collectors know the anchor sign of vintage RADO models can rotate smoothly. But not for used vintage RADO we can see nowadays.
This N.O.S. RADO’s Anchor on dial can still rotate smoothly, just like when it left RADO’s factory many years ago. With full RADO paper.
Pls note: a boy-size/mid-size. NOT a big watch.

Voyager is one of Rado’s classic models. Never on wrist. Case back with 2 proofs showing its genuine N.O.S. status:
1. Mint blue wax (Veteran members should know the watch manufacturers’ practice of putting blue wax as protective layer on the case back from 1980s)
2. Original Rado matt computer print-out label with serial number printed by dot-pin printer. Yes, dot-pin printer. We did not have laser printer then.
I have checked this serial number with Rado’s Headquarter in Lengnau, Switzerland via email.
RADO acknowledged this serial number with the information below:
RADO Serial Number: 636.3596.4.
Produced: from 1987- 1993
Version: Day/date, automatic, stainless steel case, waterproof

Most other Swiss firms only put blue wax on the case back rather than high-tech computer printed labels. Yes, RADO was very high-tech!

100% original and intact. Running very accurately. Ticking very healthily. Day/Date working properly. Change day/date right on 24:00. No scratch, wear or ding anywhere on mineral glass crystal, case, case back and the bracelet.

Case diameter: 31mm without crown, 33mm with crown
Lug to lug: 35mm
Lug width: 20mm
Case Back:
Screw case back. No scratch. Still with intact original protective blue wax from factory. With RADO’s matt computer label written “Swiss Made”. Serial number is “636 3596.4 063” printed by early dot-print computer printer.

Dial:
Signed “RADO VOYAGER”, “Swiss 063” at 6 o’clock.
Very light yellow. Extremely subtle vertical stripe finishing.
The RADO Anchor is planted on the dial separately.
Diamonds on the 12 o’clock, 6 o’clock and 9 o’clok.
Old style baton. RADO states the batons are of fine ‘Simili Stone’ (Made by the Elves?) Top surface with vertical strips, every side surface is of glossy bright finishing.
With lamination half-dot on the outer edge of each baton.
Day/Date:
Working properly. Day changes sharply on 24:00. Weekday in English and Spanish.
Crown:
100 % original crown without anchor mark.
The crown is 100% original RADO type without the anchor mark. It is identical with the crown of the 2-Tone one and the signed anchor RADO crowns. Not the generic unsigned crown or replacement crown.
Information from RADO on its crown?
I have seen quite many NOS RADO from 1960s to 1980s. Some all original ones do not have the anchor mark on the crowns. I guessed this crown is original from the same crown supplier to RADO but without anchor mark. Checked with RADO Swiss Headquarter by email. Very glad to hear from RADO that this is correct. Email from RADO below:
“Please understand we guarantee availability of parts for 10 years after the last production date. Since your watches are more than 20 years, we are not producing parts anymore.
As for crown, we have two versions: with and without anchor.”

Vintage bracelet style. You can freely adjust the buckle on one end of the bracelet. Bracelet is fairly long. Can fit various wrist sizes easily.
Paper:
With full RADO packet containing the International Guarantee booklet, guarantee card and a list of service centers worldwide. Unstamped and undated.
