That's a beauty! The Tissot is far more economical than the same sort of thing from Patek, eh? I like the jeweled bridge for the winding hammer.

IIRC, Omega and Tissot and Lemania joined forces in the early 1930s to share resources (marketing &/or research &/or manufacturing?).
Many Omega movements were simply Lemanias rebranded (esp. chronographs) and similarly, I imagine Tissot benefitted from the partnership. However, I think Tissot still made their own movements (though design and technology may have been Omega/Lemania influenced) into the 1960s.

You are exactly right. In 1932 these 3 companies became part of SSIH, the predecessor of Swatch.
