Limited Edition Model 22 EOT Deck Watch $2,200.00 The Equation of Time brand of watches (EOT) is proud to introduce the new Model 22 hand-wound chronometer wristwatch with small seconds and power reserve indication. This new watch is the culmination of efforts to both create a visual icon within the EOT line and to incorporate a fine, complicated movement into an exclusive, yet affordable, package. EOT’s Model 22 borrows its name and some of its striking features from one of the great American-made timepieces of the 20th Century: the WW2 military deck chronometer. The coin-edge bezel and crown guard of the EOT case are clearly influenced by the earlier watch, but the adaptation of these elements to a 39 mm wristwatch case with a bold 24 mm lug width help make a visual presentation unlike any other watch. Behind the scenes, the Model 22 is powered by a 21-jewel, hand-wound SO 7001RM Swiss movement that is finely finished with Geneva stripes and blued screws and includes some exclusive modifications. Much effort was expended to make the new Model 22 a timepiece of quality and authenticity, including having the design and hand-assembly of the watches done not far from the historical center of such activity: Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The case is available with a choice of two surface finishes--polished, micro blasted, and an optional smooth bezel. It also features a slightly domed sapphire crystal and a screw-on back with special engraving. An optional sapphire crystal display back will be offered, that enthusiasts may view the fine machine within. The design of the silver dial, with its blackened, etched numerals and chapter rings, pays homage to the ships chronometers and deck watches that were so important to the Allied war effort in the 1940s.
